Fall/Winter Hours Begin @ Dickerson Park Zoo

Dickerson Park Zoo begins fall/winter operating hours on Oct. 1.

Admission and gift shop hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m., daily, weather permitting. The zoo will close if there is ice or snow on the walkways.

The Bush Country Cafe is open 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., daily, in October, and weekends only November through February.

The Titus Express train ride and giraffe feeding deck are open 11 a.m.-3 p.m., weekends only in October. The train and giraffe deck close for the season from Nov. 1-Feb. 28.

“Dress Rehearsal” Preview for FOZ Members

FREE admission for FOZ Families.

Admission to our “dress rehearsal” of Halloween SPOOKTACULAR presented by Simmons Bank is free for family members covered by your current FOZ membership. Please bring your current FOZ membership card and your photo ID for admission to the event.

This is a special evening of SPOOKTACULAR for FOZ members only; it is not open to members of the general public. if you wish to bring a guest, please provide him or her with a one-day admission pass.

The “Dress Rehearsal” will go on regardless of the weather. It will not be canceled or rescheduled because of rain.

Your postcard invitation to the “Dress Rehearsal” will also include a coupon for an additional free night of SPOOKTACULAR. Admission on additional nights for family members covered by your membership is $3 per person.

New in 2014: Children ages 2-12 will receive pre-packaged candy treats. There will not be multiple trick-or-treat stations. Instead, we’ll have lots of interactive characters, like the Sideshow Scientists, activities and games. Children are encouraged to wear costumes, but it is not required. The Titus Express train ride will be operating. Train tickets are $2 per person for everyone age 2 and older.
