Scout Day at the Zoo @ Dickerson Park Zoo

Dickerson Park Zoo, Ozark Trails Council of Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland are teaming up for a fun day of scouting activities.

Scouts will learn about animals and participate in age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences at stations throughout the zoo. Scouts will also see demonstrations and learn new skills in the Skill Village, participate in Keeper Chats and attend informational presentations during education programs in the Junior League Amphitheatre.

Bob 105.1 FM Kids Fair @ Dickerson Park Zoo

Join Bob 105.1 FM, Dickerson Park Zoo, KIDS Directory, TelComm Credit Union, d.v.LaRue Design & Printing Services and Mediacom for a fun-filled day. Meet representatives from local businesses who cater to families and children.


Fall/Winter Hours Begin @ Dickerson Park Zoo
Oct 1 all-day

Dickerson Park Zoo begins fall/winter operating hours on Oct. 1.

Admission and gift shop hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m., daily, weather permitting. The zoo will close if there is ice or snow on the walkways.

The Bush Country Cafe is open 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., daily, in October, and weekends only November through February.

The Titus Express train ride and giraffe feeding deck are open 11 a.m.-3 p.m., weekends only in October. The train and giraffe deck close for the season from Nov. 1-Feb. 28.

Dickerson Park Zoo will offer free admission for military veterans and members of their immediate family or a guest on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Admission hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
